ForceDry boilers speed things up at Hoxton Press

ForceDry provided their temporary boilers for main contractors, Wates, at the Hoxton Press residential development in London.

Contractors had scheduled the appropriate time period for the liquid floor screeds to dry, however due to the British climate the required temperature for drying could not be reached independently. This meant that the screed was taking longer than scheduled to dry.

Upon returning to the screed manufacturer for help and advice the ForceDry solution was recommended and adopted across 198 dwellings in the 2 towers. Typical drying cycles of 21 days were achieved.

Each dwelling was force-dried in line with ForceDry’s best practice guide with each dwelling sealed to a high standard, dehumidifiers in place and regular moisture testing all managed by the Wates team supported by Force-Dry engineers when required.
