Composition and manufacture

All toughened-glass doors and screens are made to suit each individual design. The glass composition is normally 8, 10 or 12mm thick toughened glass. Record stocks a wide range of framing sections including sections designed to be concealed, offering a frameless glass-wall design. Using fittings from various European suppliers, many designs are available.

Appearance

Toughened glass is available in clear, and a range of tints, and can have various surface treatments applied. Record can offer designs of all types by applying a variety of durable films. This is especially important to offering manifestation and preventing any accidental collisions with the glazed area. Framing can be in various aluminium finishes including a full range of powder-coated colours. Stainless-steel framing is also available in both satin and polished. The fittings supplied can be in the aforementioned finishes.
