Gartec is delighted to be supporting the Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research charity in their invaluable research to help the rehabilitation of people who have suffered spinal injuries.

Gartec are aiming to raise £1,000 to support the research that will focus on Activity Based Rehabilitation that allows individuals to stimulate their paralysed muscles in order to improve muscle function.

Professor Ludwig Guttman said "Returning to work is the true endpoint of a person's rehabilitation. The hope is that as a result of this research facility more people will be able to get on with their lives and feel like an active member of society again"
