The new President of the GGFs is Brian Baker of GLASSOLUTIONS who replaces Mark Warren of Lister Trade Frames in this high profile industry position.
Brian takes up the presidency after five years on the GGF board, during which time he has played a key role in ensuring the views of the whole door and window industry are represented at the highest level.
With 35 years experience in glass processing, Brians role on the GGF board allows him to share invaluable knowledge with fellow industry experts about a wide range of glass products, including security glazing and thermally superior sealed units.
Nigel Rees, GGF Group Chief Executive said I warmly welcome Brian as new GGF President and thank Mark for all his sterling work during his presidency. It is pleasing that both Brian and Mark as Immediate Past President, will continue working together on many areas of the Federation.
On taking up his new role, Brian commented, I am delighted to take over the role of President of the Federation. Mark Warren has overseen some fundamental changes in the structure and operations of the GGF following the Strategy Review, and I hope to be able to build on both his and the GGFs success.
In addition to representing GLASSOLUTIONS at the GGF, Brian will also ensure the technical expertise of Saint-Gobain group sister companies Saint-Gobain Glass, Vetrotech and Swisspacer feeds into the federations work for the benefit of the whole industry.
