Huge Seminar Programme to be unveiled for Timber Expo

Preparations are nearly finalised for the 2012 Seminar Programme at Timber Expo. Running across both the days of the event on 25 and 26 September, the seminar programme will include nearly 100 sessions and will be one of the most comprehensive, stimulating and thought provoking programmes dealing with timber in its many applications.

Designed and delivered by a wide range of industry experts, the programme has been geared to deal with real issues pressing the timber sector, including case study examples of successful projects, advice on new legislation and practical lessons on the latest technical developments.

Subjects will include the Green Deal, SIPs, CLT, Glulam and Engineered Wood, Passivhaus, Business Information Modelling and 3D Design, Modified Woods, Part L Building Regulations, CPR and CE Marking, the 2012 Olympics, AIMC4 and how to work within the impending EU Timber Regulations.

The sessions will be delivered from a diverse and exciting range of individuals and organisations ranging from TRADA, UKTFA and BWF to Arup, Kingspan, Ramboll, Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants and the Olympic Delivery Authority.

Those entries shortlisted for the 2012 Wood Awards will also be delivering key seminars on their flagship projects and products. Plus you will also be able to hear more from the deserving winners of the Timber Expo and TRADA-sponsored TTJ Innovation Award, who will be revealing the secrets of their success.

The seminar sessions will be FREE to attend but pre-registering is strongly advised as the levels of interest are expected to be very high. Register at www.timber-expo.co.uk
