Dawlish based two storey Medium Secure Housing Unit scheme chose KingBuild building structure and shell solution for its 60 units across four wards and two central blocks.

Langdon Hospital in Dawlish is a two storey Medium Secure Housing Unit scheme built by Interserve for Devon Partnership NHS Trust. The development also included Office and Administration buildings. Due to the nature of the occupancy of the building wall panels were supplied with factory installed steel sheet, Cement Fibre Board and Renderflex sheathing to provide inmate robustness and weather resistance.

Construction: Load Bearing structure with composite concrete floors and joisted cassette floors. Joisted cassette roofs laid to falls to provide mono pitch saw tooth elevation. Erected in 25 weeks.
Finishes: External walls were finished in a combination of render, Rainscreen Cladding and brickwork.
