As part of the renovation, a large extension was added to the rear of this property in the Cambridge countryside, including a new kitchen, dining space and living areas as well as a new outbuilding.

“The homeowners brought us on board to help plan, manage and undertake the extensive works they specified. In total, this project has taken us around 18 months and I think we can all agree the end result is fantastic” comments William of RM Construction in Cambridge, the main contractors for the project.

“We have worked with Mumford & Wood a few times in the past and they are often specified by architects that we work with for other projects” William explains.

Across the new extension and for the new outbuilding, a selection of Mumford & Wood French doors, flush casement windows and sash windows were specified. The new products are all in a similar style and colour finish to the originals in place at the front of the property.

“The new windows and doors arrive on site fully finished and ready for installation which saves a lot of time and we have always been impressed with this”.

“The clients spoke to us recently about how happy they are with the works that were undertaken and their new windows and doors. They particularly enjoy how their new French doors have given them better access and greater views of their stunning garden” William concludes.
