Louvres & Sunshade Systems
A division of Central Fabrications, it offers a complete range of products to include acoustic louvers, ridge vents and continuous blade systems all made to drawing.
Typically, louvres are used for air intake or discharge linking with ductwork within the building envelope.
Acoustic louvres are used where it is necessary to reduce the sound transmitted from a building to the outside typically in plant room applications.
Another more increasingly used application is for plant screens where they are being used as an architectural feature.
Louvre blades can be manufactured from a range of materials to include Plastisol coated steel, PVF2, Powder coated and extruded aluminium. With Central Fabrication’s own in house powder coating plant, they can ensure finishes are the same as other fabricated items on the building, ensuring continuity.
Full independent testing can be offered for their Louvre systems and as one of the countries leading manufacturers, a wide variety of sun-shading solutions including brackets and support arms are available.
Brise Soleil and Solar Shading
Brise soleil and shading systems are an effective way to reduce the solar transmission, which in turn, reduces the need for as much cooling energy. Central offer two main cassette type systems with an extruded aerofoil blade or a traditional folded section, all the brackets and fixings are available to complement the system.
Pre-assembled in the factory, typically box louvres would be supplied from either pre-coated steel material or powder coated aluminium. Available in various shapes and sizes subject to handle ability typically supplied with insect mesh.
Where the visual effect of a louvre is required but air flow and ventilation is not always necessary then a cost effective solution is to use a dummy louvre.
With Central's folding technology it is possible to replicate most blade designs and fold them in to a profiled sheet form of up to 6150 mm long.
A wide range of materials can be used including plastisol, PVDF, galvanised, aluminium, stainless steel, copper and zinc.
Typically used as both a technical requirement to reduce sound levels from plant rooms but also offering an attractive aesthetic finish to match in with the surrounding construction.
Central can offer a wide range of acoustic louvre systems to suit decibel reduction requirements.
Typically used as a cosmetic feature, a continuous louvre system has been adapted and tested to give a cost-effective plant screening solution providing a high-quality aesthetic finish along with the required ventilation.
Louvre doors are available from Central to complement all styles; these can either be continuous with the frames hidden or with the frames showing.
Continuous Blade Louvres
Where there are large areas of louvres systems used, often as a screen to over-clad an unsightly area or as a live louvre for a large plant room.
