The magnificent Millennium Galleries, the cultural flagship of the Heart of the City regeneration project, has transformed the centre of Sheffield.

Panelock Systems Limited worked closely with designers Pringle Richards and Sharratt to custom design their Gallery Display System 400 so as to maintain and compliment the light and airy concept of the building with its marble floors and high ceilings, whilst also providing versatile state of the art display facilities.

The 4.2m high panels discreetly stack against the walls of the spacious Special Exhibition Gallery when not in use and are easily moved using the specially designed Panelock trolley.

Gallery Display System 200 units at 3 metres high are also used extensively to provide flexible display areas. The original System 200 units have been added to in the years since the Gallery’s opening, making even more display wall area available. The Gallery’s showing of four major exhibitions a year is made possible because of the ease and speed with which both Panelock Systems 400 and 200 can be repositioned.
