Movable floors from Variopool were chosen for the new Den Bessem swimming pools, designed by Slangen and Koenis architects.

Inside the building, the lighting immediately catches the eye as the beautiful round elements illuminate the two pools. The building houses a competition pool and a target group pool - the target group pool is equipped with a 12.5 x 7 mtr. movable floor with flap which makes the pools suitable for multiple activities on the same day. The movable floor is also equipped with a special water inlet system which benefits the water circulation. This is a unique concept of Variopool.

A pool ramp was been installed in the target group pool so that disabled people can easily enter the water. A collapsible stainless steel staircase was mounted in the long side of the target group pool. All in all a beautiful project that we at Variopool are rightly proud of.
