AluK’s brand new C70S 70mm gives specifiers a new level of flexibility when it comes to choosing the thermal performance of their aluminium windows. It has been designed with three different foam insulation options, making it possible to dial U-Values up or down depending on the requirements of each individual project.

In hi mode, U-Values are an impressive 1.1W/m2K with triple glazing and 1.3W/m2K with double glazing but, if project demands are lower, then the C70S can be specified in standard or partial mode to deliver slightly higher U-Values but at lower cost.

The system is suitable for use in low, mid and high rise applications and in both residential and commercial settings. It is being targeted at the residential, public and education markets, as well as at hotels and leisure facilities.

Same uniform aesthetics
The C70S has the same 89mm sightlines as AluK’s much loved 58BW system, already used extensively in education, healthcare and mid-rise residential, hotel and leisure developments, so the C70S can be installed alongside 58BW windows to give a consistent, uniform look on both new and refurbishment projects.

Class leading performance
It also boasts class-leading weather performance with impressive test results: water tightness (1500Pa), wind resistance (2400Pa) and air permeability (600Pa), ensuring that it can be installed in even the most exposed coastal locations.

And, with glazing options from 24mm to 50mm, it can be fitted with acoustic glass to make it suitable for noisy urban settings as well.

Wide choice of configurations
The 70mm system comes in a wide choice of configurations, including side and top hung casements, TBT windows and fixed lights. A new Z adaptor profile even makes it possible to achieve reversed glazing fixed lights with less material cost.

Huge colour choice
There are single or dual colour options in anodised and textured finishes and the most popular white, grey and black options are available from stock.
