New Managing Director for David Salisbury Joinery

New Managing Director for David Salisbury Joinery

David Salisbury Joinery is very pleased to announce the appointment of a new Managing Director as part of the next phase of their corporate development.

As Operations Director for the past three years, Wes Kangurs, has been a board director since 2014 and now assumes the role of Managing Director. In this time, he has developed an unrivalled knowledge of the operational requirements of the business and will be well supported by an expanded board of directors, which includes Karen Bell (Sales & Marketing Director) and Finance Director Pat Clunie.

As a business, David Salisbury has been market leader at the quality end of the timber orangery and conservatory sector here in the UK for some years now. 2018, however, saw the best set of provisional financial results in the company’s history with record annual profits and, after a very successful final quarter for new sales, a record order book.

This sees David Salisbury entering 2019 in the best financial position the company has ever been in, with over £600,000 having been invested in new manufacturing machinery over the past 12 months alone, ensuring the company is ready continue to retain its lead at the very forefront of orangery and conservatory production here in the UK.

The strengthened Board of Directors will continue to oversee the design, manufacturing and installation of the award-winning orangeries and garden rooms that has been the hallmark of the business, whilst pushing forward with their growth strategy for 2019 – which sees massive potential for developing their already expanding share of the highly competitive oak framed buildings sector, whilst targeting growth for their timber windows and doors business (having joined the British Woodworking Federation and Wood Windows Alliance).
