Pearlazzo PUR, the distinctive new range of homogenous vinyl flooring from Polyflor, has been individually assessed by BRE Global and has achieved the highest possible A+ rating.
The contemporary 24-palette range can now add first-class environmental performance to its long list of benefits, which include ease of cleaning and the highest possible Group T wear rating.
This latest assessment increases Polyflors collection of BRE A+ certified product ranges to 25 - more than any other resilient floorcovering brand - and spans the homogeneous, heterogeneous, safety and Luxury Vinyl Tile product families.
High-end design and environmental performance dont always go hand in hand but with Pearlazzo, you get the best of both worlds, comments Sonia Baker, Polyflors environmental market manager.
The unique decorative effect opens up a whole new world of design options and complements the inherent durability and ease of maintenance of the product.
Pearlazzo achieves A+ certification by BRE (ENP336) when used in major markets such as education, healthcare and retail. BREs assessment is based on a life cycle analysis approach over a building life of 60 years.
As with all Polyflor homogeneous ranges, Pearlazzo PUR is 100% recyclable, contains an average of 25% recycled material and can be welded at the seams and to coved skirtings.
Independent test results demonstrate that the product construction inhibits the growth of MRSA on the flooring. An effective cleaning regime is, however, the most important defence against infection.
