Key staff and partner businesses from SE Control’s international operations serving the Asia Pacific, Middle East and African markets, recently flew in to the UK to join with UK based staff on a week long training programme at the company’s Staffordshire based technical centre.
The intensive training sessions covered both SE Controls’ smoke ventilation and natural ventilation systems, focusing on three key product groups within the company’s extensive range, covering actuators, OS2 control solutions and the innovative NVLogiQ room controller and data logger.
Every session was designed to provide both theoretical knowledge, such as the relevant legislative standards that apply to various products and their methods of operation, together with practical knowledge of applications, installation and maintenance requirements.
SE Controls’ Group Managing Director, Will Perkins, explained: “Every one of our products is designed and manufactured to the highest standards to ensure our smoke control and natural ventilation solutions are effective and comply with all relevant legislative requirements.”
He added: “This attention to detail not only makes our systems attractive for overseas application, but also means that we have to keep our technical teams fully informed and conversant with the systems we manufacture, so that they can supply, install and maintain them effectively. Our international offices are doing a fantastic job for the group and having them all together for regular training programmes, such as this, helps keep them up to date and improve every aspects of our business in overseas markets.”
