Junckers have supplied their Nordic Oak Flooring for a new research facility in Cornwall.

Designed by Purcell, the landmark development comprises public search, exhibition, education and workshop spaces.

For the floor, the original granite flagstones were lifted and re-laid, installed alongside Junckers’ solid 185mm wide Oak Boulevard flooring in a white-pigmented Nordic finish.

Junckers 20.5mm thick solid wood floor can be sanded and refinished up to ten times. A long lifespan, PEFC + FSC certified and produced in a CO2 positive facility, means specifying a Junckers floor is an environmentally sound option.
