Alutec has received patent approval its revolutionary JuraJoint jointing system, which greatly simplifies the process of connecting aluminium gutter systems, as well as providing a leak free joint for the life of the system.
An extremely innovative solution, JuraJoint combines the advantages of EPDM rubber and the security of a high performance silicone. The sealant is simply applied in one thin bead into the specially defined central rib of the rubber seal. When the joint is snapped together it bonds the rubber seal to the gutter surface making the jointing durable, thermally flexible and secure against leaks.
Steve Laming at Alutec comments: This easy to use solution enables aluminium gutter systems to be installed quickly and easily, making them a viable and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic products. Whats more the leak free joint offers added reassurances for the homeowner, as they can be confident that it will perform for the life of the system.
This is in addition to the many long-term benefits associated with aluminium systems, such as the Alutec Evolve rainwater system one of the most sustainable and cost effective rainwater systems in the UK today.
Manufactured from marine grade aluminium, the Evolve range offers particularly impressive whole life costings, as the material is so impervious to corrosion that very little maintenance is required during the life of the product. Moreover, aluminium is 65 per cent lighter than cast iron or steel and extremely durable, with a life expectancy of 50 years or more.
Featuring traditional good looks, the Alutec Evolve range is available in both half round and semi-elliptical (Deepflow) profiles. Meanwhile, all Alutec rainwater systems are available in Heritage Black, a polyester powder coating designed to emulate the look and feel of cast iron.
