The G2 shelter was chosen as an integral part of the Rhyl Bus Station refurbishment project on behalf of Denbighshire CC. The main shelter forms the centre piece of Phase 1 of the project providing an attractive shelter whilst also integrating the latest technology required in a modern bus station.

The design was developed working together with the County Council and the Landscape Architects, the requirement was for the shelter to meet the requirements of a challenging site in terms of its layout and configuration. The main shelter was required to follow the natural curve of the footway, this was achieved with specially formed aluminium extrusions, the installation was co- ordinated to meet the programme of the main contractor.

The shelters on the scheme were designed to integrate LED lighting, RTPI signs, CCTV System, Seating and Static Timetable Information.
