Fixfast have supplied their complete rainwater system for Colbourne Place, a prestigious apartment block in Woking.

Fixfast tailors its complete engineered rainscreen support system to each customer’s exact requirements, the team requested the architectural drawings, details of the Trespa® Meteon® cladding panels and insulation specified.

Pull test calculations and details of the substrate were also required.

Fixfast then undertook extensive wind load calculations using this information, together with the project location, wind speed, building type and construction.

A bespoke fixing pattern was provided to ensure that the structural integrity of the rainscreen façade was in line with wind loads and pull tests, without compromising on the building’s aesthetics.

The fixing pattern was also designed to ensure that the installation would be as straightforward as possible.
