Recycled spherical bollards over The River Aire

Recycled spherical bollards over The River Aire

ASF 129 bollards were selected to offer an imposing and stylish marker along the pavement edge of The River Aire.

The spherical bollards follow the bridge's gentle arch complementing the rise and fall.

The spherical bollards are manufactured in 100% recycled cast iron, in ASF's foundry in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

When the Tour de France, Grand Depart came to Yorkshire, the ASF 129 bollards were added. Locals painted the bollards in Le Tour's lead rider colours of King Of The Mountains - white with red spots, The Lead Sprinter - green, and the famed yellow jersey of the Overall (General Classification) Leader.
