Phyllis Court Grandstand opens its doors in time for this years Henley Royal Regatta week, July 2 6, after an extensive refurbishment which included Reynaers sliding and bi-fold door systems.
Designed to fit seamlessly with the Georgian-style, period building of Phyllis Court private members club, which was established in 1906, Hives Architects LLP, specified CW 50 curtain walling for the grandstand to bring natural light in as well as facilitate commanding views over this impressive stretch of the River Thames.
The refurbished grandstand features CF 77 bi-fold doors which facilitate opening the entire frontage. Reynaers ES 50 outward opening windows provide natural ventilation, while CP 155 thermally insulated sliding systems deliver access to the balcony.
