Reynaers, a specialist in architectural aluminium solutions, has launched SP 68 – an innovative patio sliding system which unlocks creative design features and delivers superior thermal performance.
Designed to maximise the volume of natural light and minimise the barriers between inside and outside spaces, the SP 68 sliding door features a beautiful flush design with concealed frame. The result is an ultra slim design which significantly reduces sightlines when compared to traditional sliding doors, delivering a spectacular architectural centrepiece for today’s contemporary living spaces.
Alongside aesthetics and design freedom, SP 68 also excels in comfort and practicality. Delivering outstanding thermal insulation and meeting the highest standards of air, wind and water (AWW) performance, the system is also cost effective and designed to be straightforward to fabricate and easy to install.
Tina Hughan, of Reynaers Aluminium UK, said: “Across the UK, discerning homeowners are looking to transform their properties into places they are proud to call home. To achieve that, opening up spaces to make rooms brighter and more practical is essential, and through SP 68, we’ve created a system which can turn these visions into reality.
“Built around our commitment to quality and excellence, the system’s innovative design delivers the very best in thermal and AWW performance without compromising creativity. In practice, that provides fabricators and installers the foundation on which to create sliding doors which perfectly suit their environment.”
Offering a broad variety of options, including a single rail set-up through to two and three rail solutions, SP 68 allows for much wider openings where required and allows designers complete creative freedom. The system also accommodates glass thicknesses of 24 to 36 mm to achieve insulation performance of up to Uw 1.2 W/ m2K.
