Single ply roof membranes
One advantage of working with SIG Design and Technology is that they can help you choose the best products for each application, independently of any brand loyalty. Selecting a flat roof system is always a combination of design criteria, performance requirements and cost, and it is important to find a balance of all three.
IKO Armourplan PVC - SIG Design & Technology works in partnership with IKO and has exclusive UK distribution of its single ply membrane. Armourplan is a polyester-reinforced PVC membrane which is suitable for use on a wide range of roofing applications including specialist installations such as simulated metal roofs. The only UK manufactured single ply, Armourplan PVC can achieve an A+ BREEAM rating. Guaranteed for up to 20 years with BBA life expectancy of more than 30 years, it offers exceptional mechanical properties, a choice of colours, high UV resistance, secure seam welding and a complete range of ancillaries.
FDT Rhepanol PIB - eco-friendly Rhepanol PIB single-ply is made from polyisobutylene, comprises 70% natural materials, and is the only membrane with full Life Cycle Assessment. Requiring no hot works, Rhepanol fk is perfect for both new build and refurbishment and can be installed directly over bitumen. Rhepanol fk has a self-sealing edge and installation is as easy as 1-2-3. Rhepanol hg is suitable for all types of green roofs, is hot-air-welded and has full FLL certification.
FDT Rhenofol PVC - Rhenofol PVC is an attractive and economical solution that is quick and easy to install. Proven over 40 years, Rhenofol PVC is not as temperature sensitive as other membranes and is up to 30% more efficient to weld.
• Rhenofol CV is reinforced with a polyester grid and perfect for mechanical fixing.
• Rhenofol CG is reinforced with a glass fibre mat and suitable for ballasted/green roofs.
• Rhenofol CGV has a polyester fleece backing for adhesive bonding.
LIQUIROOF Insulation Boards - LIQUIROOF PIR insulation boards deliver a super-flat surface ideal for liquid and flat roofing systems. The fully supported boards interlock on all 4 sides, from top to bottom, to create a strong and solid surface with no raised edges, misalignment or gaps. Faced with a lightweight 8mm OSB 3 panel on the topside, LIQUIROOF panels are designed for use on old or new boarded structures. The polyurethane rigid foam insulation core provides maximum insulation with minimum panel thickness. The serrated edges on the boards slot together easily to cover large uneven surfaces, and with minimised alignment time are quick to install.
