Type of works: Wernick Hire AVflex modular building supplied for £20 million Bristol BSF project.
The Skanska construction site at the Florence Brown Community School in Bristol is using a Wernick Hire AVflex modular building as its site office. The £20m redevelopment of this special needs school under the national Building Schools for the Future (BSF) initiative will be so complete that the school will also receive a new name when it re-opens.
The two-storey, eight module, anti-vandal AVflex site office contains meeting rooms, a canteen, toilets and a drying room on the ground floor. The first floor office area is completely open plan except for a small kitchen area and WC.
Wernicks unique AVflex vandal-resistant modular building system offers a high level of security together with a bespoke internal room layout service for clients. This 66 week Skaska contract includes Category 2 lighting and two-compartment IT and telephone dado trunking in all office areas.
