BRK mains powered smoke and heat alarms
BRK products save time and money on installations. The high quality and reliable mains powered smoke and heat alarms in the BRK range now incorporate PUSH-FIT. This unique system has been specifically design to ensure a quick and easy method of fitting an alarm base unit to the mains feed at initial installation stage (1st fix) and then a quick and easy connection of alarm to base unit (2nd fix).
The 700 series is available with either a 9V alkaline or rechargeable lithium battery back-up and also includes a standard PUSH-FIT base as part of the pack. Up to 12 units can be hardwired interconnected together for simultaneous warning.
For retro-fit projects the wireless radio base incorporates all of the benefits of the standard PUSH-FIT base with the additional benefit of up to 50 units can be wirelessly interconnected together. This reduces mess and eliminates the need to run long interconnecting wires between alarms. Installed with an automatic coding system, the unit prevents individual systems in a group from interacting with each other causing nuisance alarms.

FireAngel battery powered smoke alarms
98% of the UKs Fire and Rescue service fit FireAngels ST-620 10 year battery powered smoke alarm. The state of the art thermally-enhanced optical sensing chamber provides a fast reaction to both slow smouldering and fast flaming fires in a single alarm. The Thermoptek technology constantly monitors temperature changes and if a rate of temperature rise is detected the sensitivity of the alarm is increased meaning it has a fast response time to fast flaming fires as well as slow smouldering fires. Thermoptek Technology removes the need for ionisation alarms with their storage and environmental issues.
