After 3 years of planning, design and construction the final stages of Garfield Primary School have been completed by CLD approved contractor ABC Fencing on behalf of J Murphy and Sons Ltd. The new school features key fencing and gate systems; designed and manufactured by CLD including Exempla and Dulok Rebound on the site.

In 2014, CLD Fencing Systems worked with both the London Bough of Enfield and WS Atkins Ltd to design a school fencing package that would meet the requirements of the brand-new school building as part of a brownfield project. The project would include the construction of a new school building and campus over phase 1 whilst the demolition of the existing structures and construction of play areas and landscaping would be carried out in phase 2.

The project required many aspects of the fencing and gates to be manufactured at CLDs plant in Cheshire; with a number of bespoke cranked posts, gates and features produced for delivery to site. Alongside this all fencing needed to be galvanised and polyester powder coated in RAL 7035 to create a bespoke fencing system that would fit in with the landscape plan.
