Nice UK has introduced its Spy system for the automation of garage doors. A unique, reliable and safe automation system, rigorous strength testing in Nice’s in-house product research and development labs has ensured that the Spy is able to withstand intensive use.

Spy uses a patented, solid rack and pinion system, eliminating the need to install chains or other noisy mechanisms. The separate control unit has a three button system as standard – Up, Down and Stop. With a strong emphasis on safety, the Spy runs on a 24V power supply and has a sensitive obstacle detection system that immediately reverses the motor’s movement when it senses an obstruction in its path. There is also a simple ON/OFF release mechanism that allows the motor to be blocked in any position along the rail.

Thanks to the BusT4 technology, Spy can be easily connected to other Nice devices for access control and managed directly from home or remotely via smartphone and tablet.
