Style delivers flexible dining to new Ivy Asia

Style installed a semi-automatic Dorma Hüppe Variflex moveable wall for Ivy Asia, a restaurant and late-night bar in the heart of London.

The new system allows an exclusive room for up to 35 guests to be created, delivering 38dB Rw acoustic integrity.

Guests can now enjoy an intimate experience in the sectioned off room, whilst the rest of the bar and restaurant operates as normal.

Style installed the panels with a simple priming sheet finish, allowing the restaurant to decorate the wall with their own Asian-themed graphics, ensuring it blends with the interior décor.

When not required, the wall can be moved back to incorporate the space into the main restaurant.

Julian Sargent, Style’s Group Managing Director said: “This installation is yet another good example of how a moveable wall can directly impact a business’s ability to maximise revenue,” said Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director.”

“By having the option to change the use of the space, Ivy Asia has the ability to cater for exclusive gatherings but can quickly open the space back up to maximise covers as soon as an event is finished.

The semi-automatic operation of the Variflex wall means the substantial rubber seals are automatically activated, optimising acoustic integrity every time.

The simple operation of the wall allows it to be moved in and out of position at a moment’s notice
