Subfloor, Steel Joists
Steel Joists are an alternative to classic wooden joists. steel joists work well with all floor types – simple, acoustic and ventilated. The inorganic and lightweight steel joists are raised using plastic screws– with or without a foot. On top is typically chipboard flooring to allow for a free choice of any floor material.
Subfloor creates a precision raised floor 31 – 348 mm high that becomes a natural space for installations and insulation. This Subfloor acoustic flooring system is derived from steel joists, screws and screw feet.
The sizes and materials of the joist and screw can vary dependent on the required function. Various product accessories that increase the speed of assembly and solve flooring issues can be found here.
