Flowcretes GREEN Floorzone is considered one of the most sustainable and complete flooring solutions available from a single manufacturer.
Ideal for new build and refurbishment projects, this single-source, single-warranty floor build-up programme features a number of sustainable flooring options including choices in resin floor finish and self-levelling screed, as well as an energy-saving underfloor heating system and noise reducing acoustic layer.
All seamless resin floor finishes are supported by Flowcretes market-leading and newly enhanced Isocrete Floor Screeds range, which have been given a green makeover with a new formulation free from Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), and manufactured from a high percentage of recycled raw materials.
An optional element of The GREEN Floorzone involves the Isowarm underfloor heating system, which offers energy efficient savings of up to 30 per cent compared to conventional heating systems.
Another optional feature, which represents the first stage of the floorzone build-up, is Isocrete Acoustic Foam, which reduces sound transfer between floors of benefit for multi-level occupancy buildings.
A video about the system can be viewed at www.flowcrete.co.uk/greenfloorzone
which brings to life a large-scale of model of The GREEN Floorzone for specifiers.
Ian Jones, marketing manager of Flowcrete UK, said: The GREEN Floorzone enables specifiers to seamlessly meet the most stringent green construction ratings, such as BREEAM.
The single source nature of The GREEN Floorzone also offers further sustainability benefits, with all products arriving on site from one source, with no wastage, and just one contractor responsible for the entire installation all covered by one Flowcrete warranty.
Under the GREEN Floorzone system, specifiers can be assured of a stunning seamless resin floor finish to complete the floor build-up. Combining sustainability with style, choices include Mondéco Mirrazzo, which is made of up to 60 per cent recycled material, as well as Mondéco Crystal Ice, which has a significant amount of recycled mirror glass to reduce the need for additional lighting.
GREEN Floorzone can also be specified and installed under Flowcrete UKs project management service, Isocrete Project Management.
The service offers a single source route, extending from the initial project consultation process, through to warranty and aftercare.
Operating throughout the key stages of a project, the management process offers a bespoke service from initial consultation, product specification, product manufacture and logistics management, through to product installation from a trained Flowcrete approved contractor - and all backed by a comprehensive product and installation warranty.
The GREEN Floorzone will be on show at Ecobuild 2013, where Flowcrete UK will be on stand S450.
