Sustainable flooring for secondary school

Sustainable flooring for secondary school

nora® Flooring Systems Ltd has provided their noraplan® signa sustainable flooring solution for Frits Philips lyceum-mavo school in Eindhoven. The challenge was to provide a sustainable solution that would fit in with the buildings ethos moving forwards.

The choice to use nora rubber floor coverings met the sustainability requirements of the school board, but also the architect's wish to use many colors, which they were able to achieve perfectly using nora rubber flooring.

The perspective of the school is that using relatively expensive materials can still be profitable because such materials are far less expensive during utilization. The primary reasons for choosing rubber floor coverings from nora include the sustainable nature of the products, the long service life, and the fact that this flooring is so maintenance-friendly.
