Broxap have designed a specialist railway station ticketing shelter booth at Gloucester Railway Station.

In July of this year, Broxap installed the shelter onto the pre-installed brick and concrete raised base and ramp.

The bespoke shelter/booth features roller shutter doors to seal the shelter during non-operational periods.

Large panes of laminated glass panels had to be placed into position with specialist lifting equipment and then secured into position by the installers.

Once the main structure was completed, Broxap installed a series of louvre windows to allow airflow within the shelter.

Broxap also provided an Apollo Hi-Rise shelter with their Hi-Rise two tier cycle parking beneath which will allow customers to cycle to the station and park close to the new ticket booth.
