Triton TWS EX100
Triton TWS-EX100 is a self-adhesive sheet membrane constructed from cross-laminated HDPE sheeting and a bitumen-polymer adhesive compound.
The tough, durable sheeting has an overall thickness of 1.5mm and can be applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Its primary use is for internal and external tanking to prevent the ingress of water and waterborne aggressive salts such as chlorides and sulphates from penetrating concrete structures.
Being water and vapour resistant, Triton TWS-EX100 has many waterproofing applications including foundations, basements, roofs and decks, lift shafts and pits, car parks, subways, bathrooms and balconies.
A unique feature is its selvedge that enables a fast and secure seal on all side edge laps.
Triton TWS-EX100 is available in 19.05M x 1050mm rolls. Uneven surfaces must be made good to ensure a smooth surface for the application of Triton TWS-EX100.
BS 8102:2009 defines Triton TWS-EX100 as a Type A or ‘barrier’ waterproofing system – that is one where the prevention of water ingress depends upon a separate barrier applied to the structure. This type of waterproofing is often known as ‘tanking’.
Type A systems can be further categorized into fully bonded, liquid applied, cementitious and bentonite clay liner types. Triton TWS-EX100 is a fully bonded system.

BBA certified versions of each type are available if required.
