Type of works: supply and installation of GrassProtecta™ and BodPave^® grass-reinforcement solutions.

Boddingtons Limited has secured its largest grass-reinforcement solutions order to date. Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire has been supplied with 42,000m² GrassProtecta™, a heavy-duty plastic grass-reinforcement mesh and 4,300m² of BodPave^® paving grids. The products will be installed to provide reinforcement for their grass car and coach parking facilities at their new multi-million pound visitor centre.

Construction of the visitor centre meant that redevelopment of the car parking facilities was required whilst satisfying environmental planning restrictions in the rural environment. GrassProtecta™ and BodPave^® offered the ideal SUDS source-control solution and a natural grassed finish, capable of catering for in excess of 450,000 visitors per year.
