In 2018 alone, the award-winning VEKA Group saved enough energy to power 750 average-sized houses for a year.

A new substation introducing 81 sub-meters across the business was one of VEKA’s biggest energy investments. Along with this, the group also updated to a more energy efficient transformer, switched to LED lighting, made some significantly eco-friendly office refurbishments.

These efforts have also extended to their vehicles. VEKA replaced their whole HGV fleet with Euro 6, and even created a more effect route plan.

MD Dave Jones explains: “VEKA Group is incredibly proud to have made these savings and to have attained ISO 50001, but we certainly won't stop here. I'm looking forward to seeing what more we can achieve in the coming years!”
