Venesta’s Quantum cubicles were specified for a washroom redevelopment at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
With over 40 galleries and the largest Pre-Raphaelite painting collection in the world the foot traffic though the museum can get very heavy. This prompted the need for a washroom upgrade.
The BMAG needed sturdy new washroom facilities that were built to last and suitable for use by all visitors; from babies and small children, to adults and disabled customers.
Venesta’s Quantum cubicles were specified for all phases of the washrooms development, along with solid surface vanity units and V-epps Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) panelling systems with pre-plumbed SanCeram sanitaryware.
The sculpted headrail and floating appearance of the Quantum cubicle range allows for a practical and modern design.
The cubicles are resistant to impact and impervious to water making them an ideal washroom solution for environments with a heavy traffic flow.
Fittings are available in a choice of Light Grey or Dark Grey ABS and stainless steel, with doors, pilasters and partitions available in 36 colours. Quantum cubicles are available in MFC, HPL and SGL.
The fully engineered V-epps panelling system meant installation was quick and easy, with panel heights varying to comply with the listed status of the building.
To allow for east maintenance the high strength linear-bearing hinges allow panels to be positioned at different heights.
Venesta commented that they “were extremely proud to be part of the development of such an iconic and timeless building.”
