Mapei will team up with key figures from the world of design and architecture to explore the use of colour in construction at Clerkenwell Design Week 2017.
Mapei invite visitors to join them at their Specification Centre on Great Sutton Street to meet the team from 23 – 25th May 2017.
Day one: Discover your coloured grout mood
Mapei will collaborate with President of the British Institute of Interior Design, Daniel Hopwood, as he presents “Colour in Interior Design” from 11:30 am.
Artist Jen Allen will provide colourful live entertainment, taking inspiration from Mapei’s 2017 “Set the Mood” colour collection, creating an abstract mood piece from 2-4pm.
Mapei are the first in the ceramic sector to use 3D imagining to create their wide range of coloured grouts.
Day two: Marvellous materials and coloured floor finishes
Colour, Trend and Design Forecaster Laura Perryman will present “Emerging Colour Trends for 2017-2018” at 11am followed by founder of the Materials Council, Ian Hunter, presenting “Marvellous Materials” at 2:30pm.
Product Managers will be available throughout the day to discuss Mapei’s Ultratop Loft interior floor coating and Mapefloor Comfort; Mapei’s seamless flooring solution.
Celebrate Mapei Group’s 80th birthday with them on Wednesday evening 6-210pm. Arrival drinks and canapes will be served from 6pm, followed by an introduction to Mapei. Pianist James Murphey will provide live music from 7pm, creating the perfect atmosphere for networking with experienced Mapei Technical and Specification professionals.
Day three: Coloured sports flooring systems
Mapei will invite you sot explore a virtual Italy via cycling simulators, linking with Mapei’s proud sporting history and connections with UCI road racing.
The winner of the Brompton Foldable Bike, worth over £1000 will be drawn at 4pm.
