Watts launches innovative water technology

Watts Industries has launched its OneFlow technology in the UK giving installers, specifiers and end users a variety of choices and benefits to upgrade water quality.

The scale caused by hard water can impact on water quality in a number of ways, compromising the taste of the water and causing irreparable damage to commercial appliances such as dishwashers, coffee machines and water heaters both visually, and in the pipes and valves that feed the water supply.

To combat this, OneFlow technology will upgrade water quality and preserve the longevity of appliances in commercial settings. OneFlow is an environmentally friendly solution to combating the issue of scale and achieves water quality through a filter where minerals in the water are collected to form microscopic crystals that can flow through systems without adhering to any of the appliances, valves, pipes or other working components.

This is achieved through a technology known as Template Assisted Crystallisation (TAC) which has been proven to be the most effective scale prevention technology. Furthermore, there is no need for expensive filters of regular changing or addition of salt – a cartridge change once a year is all that is required.

Dave Raynor Product Manager Watts Industries UK, said:"OneFlow products can either be installed directly to the water flow that feeds the appliance, to the water supply in the kitchen or pump room or at the point of entry to the building". Dave continued:"“Depending upon the requirements specified by the commercial user we can specify the correct product to assist in negating and reducing the damage caused by scale and ensuring the highest levels of water quality are achieved.”
