Smart cycle parking and seating are among the outdoor improvements at a £14 million college redevelopment.

Bollards and litter bins also make up the fresh new look at the Salisbury campus of Wiltshire College and University Centre.

Broxap Street Furniture worked in partnership with client Rydon Construction Limited to fulfil the brief of creating products to complement welcoming, modern entrance grounds.

Six mild steel and timber benches with armrests were supplied along with four matching seats with full length backrests.

Two Apollo Junior cycle shelters offer covered cycle parking. The frames are powder coated Anthracite Grey with clear PETg cladding to match the new three-storey campus building.

Broxap’s Stainless Steel Sheffield Cycle Hoops are part of the sleek new design.

The theme continues with four Stainless Steel Bollards which were manufactured to specification with a slightly domed top.

And three Westleigh steel litter bins, custom designed for the site and finished with hardwood slats, complete the order.

The project is part of an overall £24 million-plus investment in further and higher education provision in Salisbury and Lackham by Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP).

The new campus building in Salisbury comprises science and engineering labs, construction workshops, a TV studio, canteen facilities and conferencing space.
