In the market town of Chipping Camden, local developer, Paul Gavin of Cotswold Build Ltd has recently completed works on a new, beautiful, generously sized family home. Cotswold Build are regularly involved in new build and refurbishment projects across Gloucestershire, and this was their first time specifying Dale for one of their builds.

“We have been aware of Dale for quite some time, and did put their name forward for a refurbishment project previously, but on that occasion the customer opted for an aluminium solution. We are delighted that we could use the Dale products for this new house” Paul explains.

Cotswold Build’s attention on quality can be found throughout this property, where a beautiful kitchen from Laura Ashley with an AGA cooker was installed. The Dale range of timber windows and doors was therefore a perfect fit for the home, and in keeping with both the beautiful aesthetics, and the focus on quality that Paul and his team were keen to achieve.

“We are full of praise for the Dale products, we especially like the way they are delivered to site, everything arrived on pallets making it much easier for us to handle” Paul comments.

He continues “the products arriving fully finished is a big plus. If we went to a different supplier to have windows made, we would then have to paint, glaze, and fit them ourselves. So, with Dale, we save a lot of time and the end result is better as well!”

Flush Casement Windows
With the property boasting a traditional, Cotswold stone façade, flush casement windows in a colour complementary to Farrow & Ball ‘Lichen’ provide a perfect contrast, a shade popular in the region due to how well it works against the stone.

French Doors
As part of the development, Paul and his team constructed a beautiful orangery at the rear of the property, where their French doors in the same colour finish as the new windows were specified, providing flexibility and easy access into the large, private garden.
