xsign develops talking signs to aid inclusivity

Imagine if a sign could talk. With Talky™, it does.

xsign has developed an innovative talking sign, designed to aid navigation in the built environment, for those with sight loss.

At the press of a button, the Talky™ sign will provide you with wayfinding direction. Interchangeable graphics inserted into the button’s lens allow for bespoke and creative design of symbols and pictograms.

Couple Talky™ with innovative 3D printing methods, including tactile and braille, and our sign types meet all current disability legislation.

Talky™ units can be integrated into the company’s range of patent-pending sign technologies, such as the Puzzle lockable sign, offering ultimate flexibility and security for end users.

A rear microphone in the Talky™ sign allows 80 seconds of recording of voice notes, or, for optimal volume and audio, quality files can be transferred to a line-in mini jack.
