The Old Deanery, London supported by GEC Anderson
The main kitchen at the Old Deanery, official residence to the Bishop of London, was recently part of a major refurbishment. The available space was truly maximised under the design of Caroe Architects and it was then the task of GEC Anderson to measure, supply and install the specialist fabrications as well as the many appliances.
Galex Plasma low pitch extension
A homeowner who recently extended the rear of their property by just under 4.5 metres of rafter length opted for Galex Plasma tiles, meeting the criteria of a flat tile that would retain its anthracite colour over time. As the Galex Plasma is a clay tile with a very low water absorption, the possibility of fading is totally eliminated and will last for several generations with ease.
Reducing CO2e in Althon's precast concrete headwalls
All Althon headwalls are manufactured using a trademarked eco1™ concrete mix design. In addition, the standard eco1™ concrete mix, which is a Cement & GGBS blend, significantly reduces C0²e emissions by 50% when compared to a standard CEM1 concrete mix.
Ramp Heating Systems for Underground Car Park
Heated Driveway Systems recently installed ramp heating systems for an underground carpark for five private residences' at the Wentworth Estate. The project involved designing and implementing two 1.2-meter-wide heated tracks, spanning a 60-meter-long ramp, to be surfaced with tarmac.
TECHNAL achieves even lower carbon footprint for it's aluminium building systems
Driving decarbonisation forward yet again, TECHNAL part of Hydro, has reached a new milestone for its recycled, end-of-life aluminium Hydro CIRCAL 75R, which now carries a carbon footprint of just 1.9 CO2e/kg of aluminium.
