A blog written by Furnitubes

A bench is often not just a place to sit and watch the world go by, it’s a place to rest on a busy day, a place to meet friends or lovers, to read a book or to stop for a bite to eat. Seating, wherever it may be gives people a reason to pause and rest within the hustle and bustle of their environment.

Research has also found that the provision of public benches allows for people to spend longer outside, which is great for mental health, reduces isolation and combats loneliness within communities.

As a bench is such a significant place for most, the Furnitubes team figured the view from the bench is equally as important. In this blog Furnitubes take a look at some of the most spectacular views taken from various bench locations up and down the country, the perfect spot for sitting and watching the world go by.
