The conference room of your dreams

WoodUpp were overwhelmed by the 500-panel order that they got not too long ago. What would the completed project look like? As they proceeded, they also decided to make a story of the project. In this 8-kanten project, you will see how WoodUpp's Akupanel transformed a conference room in Odense, Denmark.

Our initial reaction

When the WoodUpp team first visited 8-kanten, there was an octagon-shaped house on the outside. With a few craftsmen were putting on the finishing touches, the team did not expect to see what came next on the inside.

WoodUpp's Akupanels were featured on both walls and ceilings, making the interior of the conference room appear much larger.

Smaller meeting rooms in a large open space

There was a large open space in the middle of the conference room that had hundred of chairs facing a big digital presentation screen used for large conferences. Stairs branch off in every direction to halls that lead to smaller conference rooms with large screen TVs.

Panels adorn both the walls and ceilings in the large open space. Additionally, the panels have been installed on the ceilings in the smaller meeting rooms, removing the reverberation and creating a great acoustical environment.
