Cyclepods provided Brighton Station with a 500 space storage facility, security lighting and state of the art entry and exit access technology.

The entire ground floor of the Cycle Hub is full of Cyclepods’ Easylift+ Two-Tier storage, as this was the best product to utilise the space.

The bespoke entry and exit system features a swipe card system linked to Southern Rail’s ‘The Key’ card. This one card provides access for commuters to the bike hub and doubles up as their travel card.

Cyclepods designed the gate based on the needs for Brighton but the design can easily be adapted for use in any hub and in any location.

The Easylift has been stringently tested to ensure its operation will endure and not compromise with use. The gas-assist had been tested up to 18,000 times, with each time representing a loading and unloading of a bike. This means that even if 4 bikes a day were stored in an Easylift space, it will still last 12 years with no deterioration on performance.
