M&G Olympic took part in the renovation of an abandoned bath house which now is a beautifully bespoke art gallery and cafe for Huddersfield University.
The interior features their mild steel powder coated, 2.3m rise staircase. The RHS stringers and folded pan type treads are coupled with offisite timber top tread. M&G Olympic's bespoke horizontal round bar infill balustrade flows through the entire staircase, which is accompanied by the CHS post mounted powder coated handrail.
The powder coated handrail is welded together seamlessly to create the overall one piece look. Featured on the upper level is their bespoke structural glass balustrade complete with recessed stainless steel handrail. Each structural glass panel is paired with their mild steel base clamp cladding, so not only does this help with the structural properties but it also creates a more fluid, stylish design.
M&G Olympic also manufactured and installed the exterior staircase, balustrade and handrails. The 2.3m rise external staircase combines the RHS Stringer and welded tread fins complete with pan type treads. Running along the staircase is their bespoke power coated stainless steel recessed handrail complete with steel core and vertical bar infill balustrade.
Along the ground level terrace is their flat bar top and bottom handrail complete with RHS post and vertical round bar infill balustrade. Whilst sitting along the main concrete staircase is their bespoke post mounted stainless steel handrail. They also continued this look across the roof terrace handrails as well.
