The Treetops development, just 10 minutes from the city centre in Hull, is a commercial development like no other. Five timber-built pods, designed in the style of woodland treehouses, challenge the conventional wisdom of what business space should look like.

They are part of Brooklands Property Holdings’ Hesslewood Office Park and, nestled in woodland on the edge of the park, are home to businesses as diverse as a hair salon and an estate management firm.

All of the windows and doors in the pods were fabricated and installed by commercial specialists EYG Commercial, using exclusively AluK products.

In total, there are 13 fixed and 7 tilt-only windows in theirr 58BW window system, 4 commercial entrance doors in their GT55 door system and 6 three-leaf BSF70 bifolds. All are in the ever-popular RAL7016 Anthracite Grey, which enhances the look of the timber exterior.

EYG’s Trade Sales Manager Tim Hotte, explained that EYG Commercial won the business from Brooklands because of their established relationship: “We have supplied them with windows, doors and commercial window treatments for numerous projects over the past 15 years and have proven the quality of our products and our service.

“What was key at Treetops was that the AluK products offered the contemporary styling and proven performance that the development needed, along with all the low maintenance benefits that come with aluminium for both tenants and property owners.”
