Gerflors superior fast-track flooring, Attraction, is robust, technically superb, good looking and perfect for installations in industries such as retail, sport, healthcare, commerce, education and housing. The beauty of these interlocking heavy-duty PVC tiles is the speed of no-hassle installation on new, existing or problem floors as well as the limitless design possibilities.
Gerflors Attraction flooring was installed at CityStore, Manchester City Football Clubs shop and ticket office. The choice of floorcovering was crucial because of the huge number of fans passing through, especially on match days. Raised access flooring precluded the use of sheet material, while the high traffic levels called for exceptional durability. Gerflors Attraction fast track loose lay tiles fitted the bill perfectly and, consequently, over 800m² of the floorcovering was specified.
The Attraction loose lay floor tile range has a unique dovetail joint, making the tiles quick to install or replace, saving precious downtime and cost, while creating an all-but-invisible seam. For architects and designers, the combination of the loose lay format with an extensive colour palette makes the tiles ideal for area zoning; so popular in many design schemes today.
Available in an extensive palette of 20 contemporary and natural colourways with an embedded, flecked design and designed to be warm and comfortable underfoot, the tiles are semi-flexible and environmentally-sustainable with a 4mm recycled backing and a 1mm pure PVC coloured wear layer. The low-maintenance tiles benefit from Sanosol® fungicidal and antibacterial treatment and are especially suited to heavy traffic situations where minimal disruption to operational areas during installation is a prerequisite.
The Attraction tiles are suitable for problem or damp subfloors as only limited subfloor preparation is required and there is no need for adhesives, welding or grouting. The tiles are anti-static (<2 kV), meeting the requirements for use in computer rooms. Easy maintenance results from a UV cured polyurethane (PUR) treatment applied to the surface. Depending on the maintenance regime and traffic levels, this reduces the need for acrylic emulsion (polish).
