We were delighted to be involved in this striking project for Active Care Group’s Hothfield Rehabilitation Centre in Ashford, Kent. What had previously been a blank brick canvas has now become an oasis of colour, making the space ideal for patients, staff and visitors alike to enjoy.

Vistafolia had been approached to provide a long-lasting, premium quality, low-maintenance solution. The idea of using real plants was quickly turned down due to the ongoing regular maintenance required that would be incompatible with the courtyard design, as well as the costs involved with this. Additionally, the client required an instant solution and didn’t have time to allow the plants to bed in.

With these challenges in mind, an artificial solution was the natural alternative and Vistafolia installed over 300m2 of product across the façades of the courtyard in a project lasting just over 2 weeks, meeting the client’s tight deadline ahead of a relaunch of the facility.

The products used were our Signature Panels, customised with our Lush Green Texture Boxes, and our Luxury Flowering Panels. Both products are made to exacting quality standards, with independent certifications for UV, Fire, Freeze/Thaw and Wind Loading to boot, all backed up with a market-leading 5-warranty for complete peace of mind.

The panels feature a powder-coated stainless steel frame for longevity, and our purpose-built fixing allows a safe and secure installation into the brick wall. Every plant on each panel is hand-assembled and affixed with a stainless steel cable tie.

Every piece of foliage is hand-designed for maximum realness. But the thing that gives Vistafolia the advantage on projects of this size is our unique multi-panel system. Rather than relying on using the same panel over and over again, our panels employ a slightly different arrangement of foliage across 3 or 4 panels to minimise the risk of repetition.

Vistafolia offers a full installation service, from small residential projects to large commercial buildings and everything in between. Many suppliers cannot offer this service, leaving their products in the hands of contractors who do not have the years of experience and wealth of previous clients to fall back on.

The client was absolutely delighted with the final result and the transformation is striking. The courtyard remains bright and colourful the whole year round with no hassle.
