Adams Rite, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, is launching its new commercial Multipoint lock range, designed for robust, reliable and secure locking, demonstrating the total specification capabilities of the business.

Engineered to the highest standards, the new Sentinel M range features a 3-point panic lock, a 3-point deadlock, and a single-point panic lock. Supported by a complementary range of accessories – including panic exit devices, cylinder escutcheons and a range of 17mm Euro Profile cylinders – the new multipoint lock range caters for a wide range of commercial applications.

Building on the reputation of the Sentinel 6 brand, the Sentinel M range will be the first of its kind to market, and will aid specifers in meeting the latest industry standards. All panic locks are CE marked and tested to EN 1125 with additional hardware, allowing members of the public safe and speedy escape, without prior knowledge of the device.

Working closely with a number of customers at its UKAS accredited testing facility; products across the Sentinel M range have completed indicative load and attack testing to BS EN1627 at RC3, which demonstrates its capacity to form part of the doorset to meet with the current Secured by Design Police (SBD) Preferred Specification for commercial applications.

In achieving BS EN 1627 RC3 or PAS24, the doorset will be resistant to casual or opportunist attack via brute force and manipulation, giving building owners the confidence that occupants and their assets are adequately protected.
