Ahmarra supply timber doorsets and glazed screens for a sheltered housing complex in Southsea

Ahmarra Door Solutions range of high performance timber doorsets and glazed screens have been selected for an extension to a sheltered housing complex in Southsea.

Ahmarra’s products were ideally suited for the project being environmentally friendly with materials being FSC sourced and incorporating BM TRADA Q-Mark certified fire doors with an FD30 and FD60 fire rating.

After submitting samples, FSC certified American White Ash veneered doorsets were selected by the client. Ahmarra worked closely with Portsmouth architects, RBA and the contractor, Wilding Butler in the design of the doorsets and screens, to ensure a better quality of product and simple on-site installation.

Cornwell Court is managed by Agamemnon Housing Association Ltd, Cornwell Court provides affordable, acceptable and sensitively managed sheltered housing for retired people. Preference is given to those who have served in the Armed Forces.
